AIR FRYER CHICKEN

Apart from being delicious and super easy to make, this air-fryer chicken is a perfect option for people looking to meal prep.

Rotisserie or air-fryer chicken can be used for many different meals. Some examples include chicken tacos, chicken salad, chicken noodle soup, chicken with veggies and baked potatoes, and chicken bowls with beans and rice.

This recipe only takes about an hour of cook time and the best part of it is that you’re only involved for a few minutes of prep work!

Ingredients

  • 1 whole organic chicken

  • 2 tbsp. avocado oil

  • 2 tbsp. sea salt

  • 1 tsp. black pepper

  • 1 tsp. garlic powder

  • 1 tsp. paprika

  • 1 tsp. oregano

  • 1/2 tsp. basil

  • coconut oil spray

Directions

  1. Add avocado oil and the spices into a bowl.

  2. Stir all of your ingredients until well incorporated.

  3. Place the chicken on a flat surface (I used a cutting board) and slather the spice mixture until the chicken is covered on both sides.

  4. Spray air fryer with some coconut oil.

  5. Place the chicken inside the air fryer (breast side down).

  6. Air fry at 375 °F for 30 minutes.

  7. Flip the chicken to cook the other side for 35 minutes.

  8. Allow the chicken to rest for 10 minutes. Now it’s ready to slice and serve.
