- 3/4 cup medjool dates, pitted (6 ounces)
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/2 cup raw almond butter (or any nut butter of your choice)
- 1 tablespoon ground flax seeds
- 5 tablespoons unsweetened cacao powder (not to be confused with cocoa)
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 cup dark cacao chocolate chips, (optional, for extra decadence)
Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8-inch baking pan (or personal ramekins) with parchment paper for easy removal.
2. Blend the Ingredients: In a food processor, combine add the ingredients in a food processor.
3. Add Chocolate Chips: If you’re using dark chocolate chips, fold them into the brownie batter for that extra chocolatey goodness.
4. Transfer to Pan: Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
5. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes.
