HUG IN A MUG

I decided to call this delicious recipe “Hug in a Mug” because coffee is the first thing I think about in the morning, and it makes me feel warm and fuzzy. The equation is simple: coffee = hug in a mug!

Ingredients

  • Organic coffee

  • Creamer of choice (I suggest oat milk)

  • 1/2 tsp Lion’s Mane mushroom powder 

  • 1/2 tsp Reishi mushroom powder

  • 1 tsp coconut oil 

  • 1 scoop collagen powder 

WHY THESE INGREDIENTS?

Hug in a Mug provides healthy fats, antioxidants, and adaptogens which create a sense of calmness.

Mushrooms (adaptogens): Help fight anxiety and are also really good for your brain's cognitive function.

If you aren’t a big fan of the mushroom powder, start with less until you get used to the “earthy” taste.

Collagen: It’s great for your joints, hair skin and nails. It also helps relieve inflammation and it is great for your digestive system.

Directions

  1. Brew your organic coffee

  2. Add creamer, mushroom powders, coconut oil, collagen powder and stir well

  3. Enjoy your hug!
